On October 20, 2011, the Maryland General Assembly passed and Governor Martin O'Malley signed into law Senate Bill 1
to enact Maryland's 2011 Congressional Districts. The 33rd District Democratic Club invites you to meet Donna Edwards
who will be representing residents in the newly drawn 4th Congressional District, which now includes Prince George’s
County and sections of western Anne Arundel County.

3rd Sarah Carter Awards
We wish to congratulate all of the winners of the Sarah Carter Awards. We are especially proud that one of our members and past club presidents, Ann Marie Remillard was awarded the “Unsung Hero” award in recognition of her tireless work for the Democratic Party. For years she has recruited volunteers from across the county for events such as the AA County Fair, poll watching, voter registration, candidate campaigning, and more. She has led the organization of the annual AA County Jefferson Jackson Dinner and has been a long time member as well as past chair of the AA County Democratic Central Committee. Ann Marie knows Anne Arundel County and has tirelessly promoted the Democratic Party in AA County as the party of the people, by the people and for all the people. Thank you Ann Marie for your tireless efforts and for being such an inspiration for us all.
